Michael W. Heaslet, DPM

After nearly 39 years of Podiatry practice in Irvine, I will be retiring on July 1, 2016. The time has come and gone quickly, especially because I have never felt that I was going to work every day. I have always loved what I do and hope that this came through to my patients. I consider you, my patients, as friends and family which makes leaving practice difficult. I have seen many of you as infants and watched you grow up to be responsible adults. And, then seen your children as patients! Can you understand how special it is for me to have had the privilege of being your Podiatrist?

My partner, Dr. Gennady Kolodenker, will be taking over the practice and would be happy to see you. Dr. Kolodenker has been in practice with me since 2011. Prior to joining me, his 3 year surgical residency training beyond Podiatry school was one of the strongest in the Country. I also had a hand in his training as, in addition to his residency training, he did a one-year Sports Medicine Fellowship training program under me.

As most of you know I have been a runner for almost 42 years and have been blessed with strong bones and joints. I still run but now more walking/hiking as my body gives me hints that this is best. My wife and I will soon be relocating to Reno/Tahoe, an area in which we have loved to vacation for years, where relaxing, hiking, fishing, and golf beckons. I thank you, my patients for allowing me to serve you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Michael Heaslet

“Dr. Heaslet has been a great teacher and inspiration. He has helped countless of athletes succeed. I feel very lucky and honored to be able to step into his shoes. I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to work and learn from Dr. Heaslet. He will be missed by all of us here.” – Dr. Kolodenker
